One of the most satisfying live sets I've watched in a while. It deserves mentioning just how many parts have been composed, practiced, and executed flawlessly by these 4 minds. Whereas the prototypical pop-star festival show might have 3 parts (verse, chorus, bridge) and keep cycling them in different keys for 90 minutes - something that any monkey could do. The Pixies are elite musicians; no contest!

Listen. Unbelievable, mind blowing. One of the most incredible bands in the world. Even without the witchcraft of Kim Deal. Its like a champion boxer with a missing leg, but damn if he's not still the champion.

Great band, great song writing, right on time for it's times, lots of ups and downs but ultimately they stood the test of time, hung in there, clambered through some darkness back towards the lights for all of these years and still have a cult following and great turn out to show. Bravo, happy for The Pixies :)

Wish I were there ... :( One of favourite bands - Nirvana , Pixies (and Frank Black) & Smashing Pumpkins - whenever I feel bad I listen to them & everything gets better :) Some bands come to my playlist - come and go. But Pixies is a permanent resident there/ ' coz this band is pure energy . Modern bands should learn from them.
