What's going on everybody and welcome back. If you are new here thanks for joining us, we are The Ball Family. We are a Full Time RV Family of 5 traveling the country in our 37ft travel trailer. Be sure to watch this entire video to see our warning about this trail in Arches National Park!

This video will be in Arches National Park where we will be hiking a hike named Devils Garden. This is about an 8-mile round trip hike if you hike the entire loop. If you're up to the whole loop you will not regret, it but be ready for a tough primitive section. Our suggestion would be to begin this hike clockwise so if you don't or can't do the primitive trail section you will get to see most of the arches on display during this hike.

Arches NP is located in Utah and is a beautiful landscape made of colors,
landforms, and textures unlike any other. Arches NP is home to over 2 thousand natural stone arches. While here in Arches NP you'll also see hundreds of soaring pinnacles, massive rock fins, and gigantic balanced rocks.

After Double O arch is where we will start the Primitive trail. This part of the hike is much more difficult with it being in direct sun and very little to no shade. This part of Devils Garden has lots of scrambling, rocky and rugged hiking surfaces on a less developed trail. This part of the trail is hard in some spots to follow so you'll have to rely on Cairns or other hikers, so you don't lose your way.

We hope everyone enjoys this video, we thank you for watching, we also hope you subscribe and come back for more of our family travels! See you next time!!

I held my breath the whole time watching that little girl! Y’all are either the best parents or the worst! LOL!
  • I love to see families together doing things. Makes for great memories and photos. Hope you can continue exploring together for many years. Rick from NC.

Wow! I want to go there - it is absolutely stunning! Thanks for taking us along!
  • Thank you for this video, we did all the other arches first and by the time we got here my hips were done! We walked into this section but only to the sign that pointed where those two arches were. Getting old sucks! LOL ✌️

Beautiful hike. How wonderful to explore the USA as a family and a beautiful family at that! Look forward to your next adventure 😊
  • I was there two weeks ago and went on some amazing and stunning hikes. Thank you for sharing your adventures and video.

I did that hike back in early November. The temperatures were great. We went the same direction as you did. We turned around at the double O and went back the way we came. It was nice getting a different perspective coming back. We had done a different hike early in the day so we didn't want to wear ourselves out. The next day it was raining and snowing so we saw some beautiful waterfalls. Hiking when it's wet on these surfaces requires extra care.

Always fun to see places you've been in someone's video. Got to see part, but not all. I'm looking forward to going back. Thank you for the recommendation on travel direction for the trail. Helpful hints like those are much appreciated. So cool to get to travel and do those activities as a family. Great video. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber. I look forward to seeing some of your other vids. Cheers!

Nice video with family! I've been to Arches 3 times & one of my favorite was Navaho & Partition Arches just past Landscape Arch. After ducking under Navajo Arch, Partition was amazing! The views thru the arch are cool & if you have the nerve, the look back thru the arch is exhilarating!

Some nice shots here. Very pretty. I'd tend to disagree that this hike is not hard. It's not for everyone. If you pay attention, you won't get lost. Thanks for posting this video. Very nice.

That was our favorite Arches hike. We liked it so much that we came back a couple days later and did it in the opposite direction. The primitive trails are always less busy, which is nice (as long as you aren’t lost).

Did Primitive w/Dark Angel clockwise back on 4/10. We missed a turn after Primitive Arch and followed some footprints but turned around after .25 mile. Luckily able to backtrack and find hikers to steer us back!

Wow your kids are amazing. I hired my friend’s 16 year old son to rake my leaves on a cool fall day and she made me promise to give him a ten minute break every half hour. That’s not how MY parents raised me. Heck, I could go for two hours when I was 65.

Greeting from Hong Kong🇭🇰. Admiring the way you guys enjoying the family gathering.👍👍👍

I think I would go counter clockwise and go down the loose sand hills rather than up. Looks amazing though. Can't wait for you to get to Michigan and try Sleeping Bear Dunes so you can see some real loose sand hills. Keep after it.

That primitive trail is no joke. Was there on 4/25 and took a false path by following footprints instead of looking out for trail cairns and wound up lost for a solid 20 minutes. Ran into a guy who did the same thing and was lost for an hour.

I did some of the hike a couple years ago. Didn't have enough time to do the entire thing because I had plans elsewhere. So I only went as far as Double O arch. It was still one of my favorite hikes I've ever done.
