Being in a simulation doesn't necessarily mean the simulation was designed (like we design games). Another type of simulation happens when very simple rules are computed recursively giving rise to very complex structures (like fractals). The later type of simulation doesn't need a sophisticated designer.

One time, on a really bad trip I dove deep into the 'simulation' and I could not explain it but it made total sense. It was a pretty hectic experience and turned me off doing that stuff again.

There's also one thing they didn't mention that would immensely reduce the necessary speed: Our world's speed isn't necessarily the same as the real world's: Every operation could be done gradually and simulated all at once after every calculation is done which could take as long as they want meaning they don't actually need high computational power

I like how every time I’m too high I “remember” that life is not real and I’m in a simulation, I also forget what it means to exist. Riveting stuff.

I also wondered tons of time if evrything around us is even real, or just something someone thought up. The fact that everything is real startles me always after I snapped out of my "everything is a simulation" thought. Thanks for the vid. You guys are awesome

weather or not we live in a simulation it does not really matter we get the gift to live and enjoy life while feeling emotions.
