  • The weakness with this Branching logic is that if you want one answer (e.g. No) to take you to a later Section, but the other answer (e.g. Yes) to allow you to continue to the next questions in the current Section, and those other questions have a Required setting, then your Branching logic for the No answer will no longer work. Even though you answer No, it insists that you answer the remaining Required questions in that current Section, even though they are only relevant to a Yes answer.
  • Thanks for the lesson. Today I spent a whole day struggling to create dependent questions. Once more thanks!

I have created two google forms. I want one form to link to the other. However, I cannot put the link to the second form in the 'presentation section' of the first form because I already have something in there that needs to stay. How can I link the first form to the second form? I thought about putting the link in another section but I am afraid the section when show to everyone that uses the form (the link is to a downloadable paypal music file), which I do not want. Can I create a second submit button? That is the only reason I need a second form.

Very informative, I would suggest video should include previewing the form to show how it looks in end.

thank you.. saw a lot of videos but didn't understand why the option was not coming. Your video really helped. Thanks for the effort!!
  • @IngotAU
Super helpful content, and well demonstrated! Thanks for posting!
  • This was so helpful. Can you make a video on how it would look like in google forms and how you recommend to organize the information since some info in nested and doesn't make sense in the spreadsheets. Not sure if i'm making sense
  • @JayEdgarT
Thanks for a nice, succinct explanation!
  • how to change "go to section based on answer" with go to section based on 2 answer? because that function only work for lastest question only... expectation, example go to section based on 2 answer: Yes, Yes = go to section 2 Yes, No = end, submit No, Yes = end, submit No, No = end, submit reality, example go to section based on answer: Yes, Yes = go to section 2 Yes, No = end, submit No, Yes = go to section 2 (this is based on lastest question) No, No = end, submit
  • In my Google form, I am not having an option of "go to section based on answer". There are just 3 : Description, response validation and shuffle option order
  • What if there's another option for those who wanted both courses, Time Management and HR? How would you solve that, considering that when they go to any course, they are sent to the end?

I have a question, we need available "send email receipt to respondents", but when you put the marker on "Who can fill this form: anyone with the link can respond", the button "send email receipt to respondents" don't work. Is it possible somehow that this would work?
  • @ga1654
ive made a survay in arabic and later on i translated it in the same sheet, so what happened is that the answers on the responses have changes making the whole thing repeated on the chart like instead of just 5 choice answers on a graph they became 10, how do i merge them ?
  • How to apply the condition of number of addition of sections dependent on answer to a question. for example if no. Of houses owned is 3 then 3 sections with same details should get added so that client can tick information about each one in each section
