Toyota RAV4 (2019-2024): Pre-Trip Inspection. Going On A Road Trip? Do The Pre-Trip!

This video will show how to do a basic pre-trip inspection in the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4.

Nowadays vehicles are very reliable and we assume that you service your RAV4 regularly but there are still things you need to check if, for example, you are going on a long road trip.
We will check if all lights are working, the condition of the wheels and tires, tire pressure, and tire wear. We will check the fluids and make sure there are no leaks. We will check the air filters and the condition of the 12-volt battery as well.

Before going for a long road trip, you should take the vehicle for a short drive and test your brakes. If when you brake the vehicle starts to pull either to the left or the right, this can mean that there is a problem with the braking system. In this case or if you feel any other abnormalities you should get the vehicle inspected by a professional mechanic or take it to the dealership.

Among other things to check not mentioned in the video are the condition and the cleanliness of the windshield, the condition of the wiper blades, and the torque of the roof rack, in case you have one.
