Tom Delonge Pursuit of Tone (Full)

My dad was at home about to pass away from cancer and i spent my days with him taking care of him. I was watching this with him. And it was the last thing we ever got to watch together this film is very special to me and my dad really enjoyed it too. Thank you for the film.

Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple years ago at a book signing for the first Poet Anderson novel. He was incredibly nice to every person and chatted with everyone for about a minute each (even though the line literally went down all 5 flights of stairs and out the front doors). A woman behind me had him sign her arm so she could get it tattooed; she had self harm scars, and Tom noticed and said something along the lines of “If you ever feel like doing this again, remember me and remember that I love you.” Kind of corny, but it was sweet and speaks to the type of guy Tom is.

This movie has seriously inspired me to dedicate the rest of my life into the endless pursuit of that Ford hat

This band, more specifically the opening riff of Stay Together For The Kids, is the reason why I picked up a guitar and became a musician. Hearing Tom explain the thought process behind STFTK gave me chillbumps. I’ve got so much respect for this dude and I’m so glad the boys are back together. Long live Blink 182 🖤

This guy is way way smarter than most people think.

I love how he said that the more different you are, the better you should feel about yourself.

This dude is so much more of a philosopher and student of art and music than people realize.

This guy figured out what he wanted, went out and got it, hit the stratosphere, and never looked back. I think he's telling us all, if he can, we can.

If you fell in love with blink at a young age like I did.. and then dealt with the break up which sucked so hard.. then got to witness AVA.. this shit is amazing.. to hear him explain songs and the meanings.. SHIT still gives me chills thank you for this

This could very well be the best music-related documentary ever. I'm losing count of how many times I watch it.

I always loved Tom’s voice.

I've been a lifelong blink fan and I always thought Tom was selfish and shit but after hearing his side of why he left I totally understand why he left....respect man.....respect

I respect his self awareness and how the whole "nursery rhyme" sound is intentional.

This truly opened my eyes and made me realize how underrated Tom is as a musician.

I don't know if I've ever heard someone speak that knows more about themselves than him. Very inspirational.

I had no idea how healing this would be to watch. This was like therapy in a lot of ways for me. Blink change my life forever and is the reason why music is my life. I felt like it made sense of the divorce that broke up my family. I use to work at Goodonya right next to To The Stars shop in Encinitas and one day saw Tom walk up. I wish I said hi and shared how much he has impacted my life but i told myself for years never to be the star struck kid with people. And normally i stick with that, but this time i regret not saying something to him. Thank you Tom for being you and changing so many lives...

Tom seems like such a nice guy, just don't let him paint your guitar.
