If the girl being questioned about housing at around the 10 minute mark is the niece the older woman was referring to I can say with about 95% confidence that she is indeed using drugs, likely fentanyl, while pregnant. That poor baby is fucked for life IF it is lucky enough to not die before making it to term. So incredibly sad.

Im going be so real with you. Ive been recovered from fent for 2.5 years. The fact people think harm refuction helps at ALL is wild. I got sober mostly because my city was so strict and because it was hard to get drugs and clean needles. I know that that sounds harsh but there are bad parts of the city I live in, but it's nothing like this and it never will be. I lived in tents in the woods, I've been exactly where a lot of these people are. It does break my heart because I justified it for a really long time. I went from having a six-figure job to losing everything in living in the woods. I thought I was free but I was a slave to my circumstances and my living conditions. I'm glad this is getting coverage. I wouldn't demonize the people who think what they're doing is right, I genuinely believe they are mentally ill. The problem seems to be the lack of forced help and accountability. Of course no one thinks they're doing anything wrong and that their lifestyle is fine when they get help to facilitate it.

It's crazy that this guy literally said he invited the homeless into CHOP because he couldn't be bothered to sleep outside for his protest for 30 days. What a great guy.

As a former homeless person that stayed in Seattle these people have destroyed the city i once loved. Absolutely disgusting. Thank god i was able to get out and sober before the fetty craze hit because i would most likely be dead. Just hit 7 years sober.
