Mahito Has A NEW Awakening Move... And It Sucks - Jujutsu Shenanigans

The long awaited new Mahito move is out, and well... Its not very good. It's designed around making it easier for Mahito to stall for his cooldowns, which is an incredibly creative design choice, but also one that still leaves Mahito very weak. The move also has some problems such as hitting the user that make it even worse, and overall, its really not good. This video will go over all the changes in this update, and my overall thoughts on them.

    I've broken my little video gaming addiction and come back to making actual content, so the unofficial hiatus is over and you can probably expect a video tomorrow, though all of them will be on the shorter side considering that school is soon and my time is very, very limited. I'll do more suggestion reviews (y'all are bombing me with them so I kind of have to) since they're quicker to make during the times where school takes priority, and I'll do my best to upload more consistently.

    if head splitter was an evasive move with hyper armor, maybe it gonna be a good move

    another problem i have with head splitter is if you get nicked once while your lagging, you get stuck throughout the entirety of the combo unless you have a ragdoll cancel
  • It’s genuinely so horrid It’s legitimately a detriment to use, as it blocks your other moves😭

    Head splitter should have just been a R ability that’s makes u faster without the separate body with the attacking part instead. 3 move would have been cooler if it was the scene where Mahito uses a bunch of transfigured humans in a aoe of about 10,10 blocks.

    The move should be buffed so that it; -Gives the user a speed buff when actively. -Gives you access to special moves (like a mode) to replace your old ones. -Doesn’t do damage to you.

  • I think ISBODK will become Mahito's awakening R special, where you can put it up and down when neccesarry, and hopefully Mahito can get a move equivalent to Sukuna's dismantle that he can fall back on for stalling until Idle Transfiguration,. He's way too defensive right now, although I think his awakening was always meant to be used as a response to teamers, jumpers, and other ultimates (although it isn't too good at fighting other ults at the moment), hence all of the one shots, and his recent aoe addition. When you really think about it, his ultimate is mostly responses to bigger threats than himself, although he doesn't do too great at that at the moment.

    You can confirm a kill in your domain expansion with the new move if you just use it in the middle

    Mr.Eternally it seems you think I will forget my kashigoat suggestion Kashimo-Thunder god Special- A parry similar to yuji or hakari your character coats themself with lightning to counter attack doing damage on contact and damage overtime Move one- static beat down: your character does short windup before rushing at your opponent with thundering punches which can chain thunder to others (screw teamers)similar to cursed strikes it can pickup off the ground if timed properly Move two- staff toss: throw your nyoi staff at your opponent to stun them doing decent damage with a 10% chance to paralyze but can be blocked(like a better version of reserve balls) but if you miss the staff will be stuck in the ground if used twice it can be used to relay thunder back to your opponent but if you miss you get shocked (kinda like red black flash) Move 3- Thunder’s roar: a dash move (similar to rush or hakari’s rushes) dash towards with a unblockable kick (good for combo ending) Move 4- taunt: mock your opponent by wiping blood from your nose (have to take damage) buffing your character with decently reduced cooldown times can only be used once until you die and cooldown reduction turns off after all of your moves come back Ultimate-Mythic beast amber: Tell your opponent to turn up the volume as this is a funeral for the living your thunderous energy surges send out a aoe attack to push back your opponent instead of a ult bar timer your health slowly goes down until you eventually die Special- be able to see your opponents moves and ultimate bar to see if they are on cooldown to be the ultimate menace 7 sec cooldown Move 1- mystic eraser: use electric magnetic to send back projectiles open and red for examples Move 2- surging armor: use your electricity to make armor when you block stop those too aggressive opponents from hitting your disappears after a time gauge similar to mahito domains Move 3- Lightning ashes: charge up a thunder dash similar to thunderclap flash the tell tale sign being your character gets low to the ground on all fours before dashing with incredible speed before backhanding the opponent Move 4- demonic form: surrender yourself to your lighting increases your health decay rate but increases the damage you do by two times Really only did this because kashimo is my favorite character in the manga and gege did him dirty hope he’s the next character in jjs and yes this is very gimmicky but that’s the point.

    only use of shadow swarm is summoning raga after flinging somone away far enough so they can't ruin it till they have long range move or something

    Oh by the way you can’t block while in head mode, making it even worse. You can’t even defend yourself if someone gets close.

    Yeah tbh mahito isn’t even really that fun for me in my opinion he’s hella boring just, because of how much the skill ceiling is for him.
  • don Quixote using sukunas domain at the beginning caught me off guard
  • IMO it’s good for running away since you can immediately start running if you use your ragdoll cancel after getting hit, and if your good at m1 neutral you can wait it out to use idle transfiguration again

    The Head split should be replaced by Jumpei summoning or something similar. It would be a pretty cool support especially with Teamers
