I can totally understand how challenging it is to raise a Shih Tzu, especially if it's your first dog. I started this channel to help Shih Tzu owners take better Care of their Cuddle Monster.

My Shihtzu is totally loved and spoiled, those eyes melt my heart ❤️🫠

Well my baby is already spoiled and manipulative 😂
  • @JCATG
The hardest part here is not spoiling them. How can anyone resist these adorable babies? Haha!
  • What I love most about my Teddy is he's ALWAYS in the mood to be loved on. You could wake him up from being dead asleep to pet and cuddle and he will love every second of it. There's no such thing as to much love and pets for shih tzu's
  • My sweet angel Daisy was a purebred. She sadly passed away about 2 weeks ago but I'll never forget her. She was afraid of storms and fireworks, we always pampered her (cleaned her eyes, cut the fur around her paws so she could walk, rub her ears, and even got her lots of haircuts so she can stay cool), but she was, since the day we got her, a little bratty princess. She bit us whenever she wanted and only loved my mom but would even bite her too. It's not like we did anything to her, we would just try to love her but she was too good for us XD I miss her lots and it's not the same to not have 2 little pups to get bossed around by. My eldest dog of 16 years was a mutt but such a baby. She was the sweetest and her name was flower. She passed away sadly from old age and Daisy sadly got a spinal injury which affected the way she was walking and ....pooping. Because she might have pinched her spinal cord by the back of her neck, she wasn't able to walk well. We believe that maybe the company who gave her a haircut....pet smart, could have caused this since they put their necks in restraints so the dogs don't move or bite, and since she started walking weird after that. But it could be possible that she fell down a step when she was outside which I would feel horrible about. Needless to say, sorry for the rant/talk but please love ur dog as much as u can, and please don't take any time u can spend with them for granted. This goes for any type of loved ones. I hope everyone's little puppy's grow old and live their life to the fullest, and please feed ur babies a treat for me, I miss my little girls. R.I.P Flower and Daisy💚😥😔

The loud noises part is easy, i have my little shit in my truck and she got used to the air brakes being applied and the compressor blow off within a week or so. she did spend a lot of time in the sleeper where the sound from up front is muffled by alot. now she can walk by my side through a truck stop and not even flinch when the compressors around us blow off. excellent road companion overall 🥰

Shih Tzu are very smart. They are always overlooked and underestimated when they rank dog breeds. I mean who is smarter the dog that give in and do,as you want or the one who manages to turn it around and make you jump through hoops for them.

My Coco is spoiled and manipulative. He barks when he likes you to get his toy.Afraid of loud noise but he is a sweetheart. I know that one day i would only remember him, but it saddens me already now just thinking of it.

  • You are right on so many levels. My baby is 9 years old. VERY SPOILED. I love him so very much Please continue with great tips
  • 4:11 When I was about a young boy, I was in the back seat of my dads truck, we were driving down the road, and our family dog "muffy" had her head sticking out of the window, she saw something, and squirmed out of the window before anyone could do anything. She went under the rear tire of our truck, my dad hit hit the breaks, and ran back to her. I'll never forget the pain of that day. My father walking back to the truck with our dead dog in his arms... 40 years later, still the only time I've ever seen my father cry...
  • Cant help but spoil my 2 furry babies every chance i get. They are my everything ❤️
  • This dogs are faithful, loyal, loveable and smart. They are adorable. Great house dogs

My baby, Teddy, is now 6 months old, and a purebredShihTzu rescue taken by the State of CT just days after his mother gave birth. I adopted him at 8 weeks old. He is the core of my heart, and ok…he is pretty spoiled… BUT he is also so sweet, loving and cuddly. He has me hook, line and sinker, unconditionally!🥹😂😍Linda, CT.

Our shih tzu doesn't care about the vacuum and even chase it but he runs away whenever I sneeze 😭

Some positive reinforcement tips would be great :) I’ve read quite a few general psychology books on this but sometimes it can be difficult when you are very upset, but I’ve found that like human on human interaction, if you are upset with your loving Shih tzu then walk away to cool down before you do something you’ll immediately regret (like hitting them)
  • New subscriber. Loved the video. The way I found to train my shitzu is giving or removing attention when she do good or bad things. Even 10 minutes of not looking to them worked a lot to me. They are really smart.

Mine is getting bossy in her old age. But I love her jut the same. It is actually quite comical. She has a cockeyed ear and she has the cutest smile ever and when her ear is coked and she smiles it makes you laugh.
