“This is a war he started which has now bitten off a piece of Russia.”

Ukraine’s incursion into the Kursk region of Russia could become “even more humiliating for Putin” if Ukrainian troops can continue to hold the territory, Bill Browder tells Frontline on #TimesRadio.

The Russians needed 6 months to take 7 kilometers in Donbass, Ukraine needed one day to take 15 kilometers in Kursk, he he... Putin should not drink his tea right now. It might have a little sweet taste of Polonium in it...

According to Russian sources, Ukrainian DRG units have already reached the village of Korenovo, some 20-25km from the breached border.

Putin needs to go to prison and be in solitary confinement for the rest of his life. He’s the one calling the shots on all of this.

The Soviet invasion of Finland in the 2nd world war was a humiliating experience for the Soviet Union despite some semblance of eventual success. There is a stark difference between that engagement & this; politically & otherwise. But is this not very broadly the same experience? In that a vastly superior army is humbled in contact due to frankly subpar Russian performance in the field due to weak command & unprepared troops of every discipline, & determined & innovative tactics by the outnumbered defenders?
