Feel bad for Ryan because that Superbowl was the absolute last chance for him to get a ring in his long career and the defense let him down

Matty Ice is one of my favorite QBs. That dude was special. He was scapegoated in that Super Bowl with that bad fumble, but the game wasn’t his fault. Quinn could have managed that game better with running and taking knees to kill the clock. The Pats would never have had enough time to get to 28 and Ryan would have a ring and a Super Bowl MVP under his belt.

Much respect to him, he's still done something that most people won't ever be able to do, and that's playing a full NFL career as a QB

I wish he could come back to Atlanta. He'd be a great leader in the locker room and could at least help guide Desmond in the right direction.

Colts up 33-0 Matt Ryan: why do I hear final boss music?
  • Matt Ryan will forever and always be an Atlanta legend, he was our franchise qb and we loved him, his connection and passes to julio jones were the highlight of our sundays, even though he doesnt have a SB ring he did a lot with what he had, and imo is hall of fame worthy bc of his impact on the falcons team, and he does have really good stats to help with that. He just could never finish it out strong and that isnt all his fault, that sb lost wasnt all on ryan, our defense sold too along with a miss block by our RB. He is a great and theres no denying that, love u matt

As a massive falcons fan, I will always appreciate Matty Ice for what he did for this franchise. The greatest QB in team history. He doesn’t deserve as much hate as he’s gotten. Will always be grateful for the great memories and all the 4th quarter comebacks he had for us.

I remember Matt Ryan his rookie year 2008. I said he’s gonna be special, sucks he couldn’t get his ring when he had the chance but I always enjoyed watching him play with Julio Jones.

Even though he fell off after the Super Bowl, he still put up some impressive stats in his career

Matt Ryan doesn’t play defense. The Falcons defense is what let them down in the Super Bowl.

Not sure he's hall of fame material, but he's absolutely Hall of The Very Good caliber. He helped Atlanta have a couple valid super bowl windows. One of the most respectable NFL careers you can ask for.
  • @Soundamite
Easily a hall of famer. There was no fall for Matt Ryan. The guy turned around a franchise. 28-3 was not his fault. He’s top 10 in every major passing category alltime in nfl history. NFL mvp. All pro

Nice retrospective on Matt Ryan's career. I still wish he could've ended his career with a ring (argh), but his class, longevity, and professionalism earned him "QB1" status in the hearts of many a Falcon fan!
  • @pfoxworth7
Matt Ryan has over 25% of all of the falcons wins in club history. Also, don't forget his first pass in his career was a touchdown.

Teacher: Describe another way of saying you’re choking. Students: 28-3
  • @12thMandalorian
He randomly turned up for to 28th birthday as he had booked a table with his own friends, spoke more to him than that night than my dad, who missed the 3rd birthday of mine in a row
  • @sbonfye8058
Yo us in Atlanta miss you big dawg ! We really do
  • @chrisedwards5447
Imagine saying a QB blew a lead and he never played a single snap on defense
  • @NewsomSportsATL
He’ll always be my king. Him and Freddie Freeman were my childhood.
