I heard Stormy say it wasn't an affair because it only lasted 1.5 seconds! 😅😅😅😅

No interruptions this morning from Joe! Very refreshing ! This format works! Please keep it up. The Joe interruptions were UNBEARABLE! Thank you!

I find it hard to believe that anyone indicted and/ or convicted of a crime would be allowed to run for any public office. Letting that happen is just asking for more crimes to be committed by that person. There needs to be some clear federal laws determining who can legitimately run for public office and some intense background checks on everyone thinking of doing so. I was a federal employee for 20 years and I had to have intense background checks, even when I changed from on position to another. Every federal employee has to go through this. Why not candidates for federal positions? It is ironic that there is a law preventing convicted felons from voting but not the same for candidates.

Franken's punishment was too extreme and our governance is poorer for his absence.
  • Pretty amazing how Al Franken can easily interchange between being funny and being serious. Some people just want to be goofy all the time and it can be hard to separate their goofy side from their “serious” side but Al Franken does it so easily it seems magical. When Al is funny, he is REALLY, REALLY funny.
  • I worked maintenance in several nursing homes thru the years, had several background checks and had to be cleared before working. i was always cleared but even if one question would have arose, i would have not got the job.

Al's interview with Graham last night on The Daily Show was fantastic and entertaining. He definitely brought his game on, and called out all of Graham's BS.

the fact that its March of 2023 and we still have to have people on air saying this daily, because this turdpile still hasn't gone away, is so beyond ridiculous at this point you couldn't convince me it wasn't written as a sitcom.
  • Losing Al Franken was a huge blow to Democracy. Bring him back. Not only is he intelligent, but he can laugh at himself, and make us chuckle.

I love Al Frankens' honest candor about what really went on and where things are at today.
  • Can you imagine a republican doing what Al Franken did and then resigning, instead of lying through their teeth to maintain their power, he's a decent person and you don't see that a whole lot in the Republican Party, he didn't have to go anywhere but he has integrity and character and I'm glad to see him back

When you have never been held accountable for your actions and behaviors then actual Justice seems unfair.
