Filipino here... The first animation was most likely to be based on a creature called "Tiktik" and this creature is mostly known for it's long tongue and targeting preganant women and eat their babies just like in the animation. And btw, the chant that the old man is saying is actually "Our Father" or "Ama Namin" (words are exactly translated)
