Tom Morello once apologized for inspiring and influencing Limp Bizkit šŸ’€
  • Calling chocolate starfish a "long and uncomfortable fart" was the most accurate description ive ever heard of that album lmfao šŸ’€
  • @Questformetal
Every time someone mentions torch the faith I get horrific flashbacks šŸ¤®

Illud Divinum Insanus is fittingly known as ā€œMorbid Angelā€™s St. Angerā€ hahaha xD

Had to pause and check out Limp Bizkit because Iā€™ve never heard their music. I felt that you may have been overly harsh. You werenā€™t.

If you think Chocolate Starfish is bad, just listen to Results May Vary. It's way worse.

As soon as I heard ā€œyear 2000ā€ I said itā€™s totally Limp Bizkit...
  • At the very least the band behind Fred Durst is awesome But Fred somehow can nullify the talent behind him... its amazing how he can do that
  • If you heard Limp Bizkits first album when it came out and at the same time at Soulflyā€™s first album you know it was very fresh and his vocals on Bleed at the breakdown were the highlight of the album.

Iā€™ll admit, I am a Limp Bizkit fan and I still like the Chocolate Starfish album. I also donā€™t think St. Anger is as bad as some people make it out to be but the criticism it gets is totally fair though lol. Iā€™ve only heard a couple songs from Psychosexual. Not sure how someone could sit through the whole Torch The Faith album. I refuse to listen to it lol.
  • Can you do please do a thrash episode that showcases bands who may not be on everyoneā€™s radar, bands that have been around for years or disbanded but released incredible and critically acclaimed albums from Holy Terror, Morbid Saint, Sacred Reich, Devastation, Forbidden and Demolition Hammer as examples Thanks and keep up the great work

Here are my thoughts: Definitely agreed on Limp Bizkit. And to think that that was one of the best selling first week albums of the 2000's. IT LITERALLY SOLD OVER A MILLION COPIES IN 1 WEEK!!! St. Anger agreed as well but not because it was different but because it was so uninspired and so painfully boring. Ugh Morbid Angel. There is absolutely nothing wrong with mixing Industrial and death metal, plenty of bands do it well like you said but the way they did it was horrible and overproduced. Korn for sure. There are only 2 songs on the album that I like. The rest are throwaway tracks. While I don't think that "Time I" is one of the worst I can understand why it's on this list. Also big middle finger to Wintersun for continually disappointing their fans with promising "Time II" because that's just disrespectful to your supporters. Six Feet Under I actually kind of disagree with but only because I truly feel that "Crypt of the Devil" was infinitely worse. I listened to that album only 1 time and immediately knew that it was the worst album I had ever heard. Definitely understand why this album is on your worst list, it's still awful. I have yet to listen to that Therion record and I don't plan on it. It's a bold move to release a 3-disc album but you need to have something worthwhile and engaging to listen to. Swallow the Sun are an example of a band who somehow managed to release a 3-disc album that was actually a masterpiece because every disc is engaging and completely different from the next disc. I also can't really talk about the Nostalgia Critic and Psychosexual "albums" and quite frankly I'm kind of scared to listen to them, especially the Psychosexual album. Based off of your review of it it sounds like a painfully cringy, misogynist, bland, and generic album. I can understand pushing buttons but if you have nothing worthwhile to say then what's the point. That's all I have to say. Apologies for the rant.
