The new pickups are ‪@billsguitargarage‬ Sonoran Sidewinder custom wound pickups I bought and unboxed in a previous video. I have not used passive pickups since I tried my first EMG's in 1983. I am seriously impressed with these.
They sound amazing and are more versatile than I expected. Even when I split the coils (more videos of that soon) subtle volume or tone changes make it sound like a totally different pick up. Blending between the two is where they really shine. I hardly ever use the neck pick up but have found that to be the sweet spot on this guitar for a lot of stuff I play so I don't have to remake a lot of my song profiles.

Very nice. Really articulate with a classic metal sound, and that killer rig you have can’t hurt (until you have to try and move it 😂) Interesting about the neck being the sweet spot. It’s always been my preferred position
