The "Speed Garage" period was a great time, so many classics.

I remember raving in Toronto in the late 90's and several friends and I were roaming the streets prior to the parties we'd attend. Many afternoons and evenings spent with headphones on and speed garage playing in our ears, dancing while walking in the streets together.

Jesus loves it and so do I. ❤❤

London Pressure...Frog & Nightgown, Scribbles & Freek Fm,, South to North and across the city, the enthusiasm palpable, the abandonment to music on the dancefloor was infectious and spread very fast after coalescing from the early 90's. I had test presses of some of the big tracks, you knew, from the first few bars that they would cause excitement. It needs to be said that London was and had been saturated with pirate radio, where shows would vary enormously from hour to hour, Soca followed Jazz Funk, then Hip Hop and so on, each genre was represented in its superlative form, thus the tracks played were composed by highly competent if not esteemed musicians, their knowledge of, and feel for musical systems was what imbued their work and was absorbed by those that heard their work, thus feeding into the subconscious of those who then made the London Garage tracks, same with Jungle and Tech House....big up Croydon.
