This would sure become a hit if ever released a studio version
-
It's absolutely crushing to think that there will never be a studio version of this, or even another Nirvana song.
-
Punk rock, melodic, catchy, grungy... This is one hell of a great song!
-
Nirvana are only known to have played this song five times and it was recorded every time, Whether it was an official recording or a bootleg. It was played on these dates: Nov. 16 1991, Nov. 17 1991 (Best quality version) Nov. 23 1991, Nov. 26 1991 (Worst quality version) And of course, This version from Oct. 4, 1992.

I’ve never heard this song before, I haven’t had that feeling of hearing a Nirvana song for the first time in sooo long I didn’t even know it was possible so thank u :’)
-
I looked up the cafe and it still exists ! It turns out its a cute little bar that has a small stage to perform on. This kind of bar/venue is mostly for under ground artists. Which is why Kurt said “thank you for letting us play here and pretend we are still under ground-“ . Im sure playing for smaller crowds is more personal.
-
Just love the dialog before they start playing :)
-
God damn...Kurt really knew how to write a catchy chorus!
-
"Do you know how much money we have?" -Kurt cobain That was so funny lol
-
Even with bad quality sound...sounds magically amazing
-
This would have been one of the most popular songs of the 90's if they had recorded it, too bad!
-
One of the greatest Nirvana songs to have never been released on an proper album.
-
Years of being a massive fan and somehow I missed this song entirely.
-
Love how i'm still finding Nirvana Tunes
-
Favorite unreleased Nirvana tune.
-
What makes this song great, even unique for Kurt Cobain, is that it’s just a fun song. Kurt is remembered for these dark themed songs or pieces of poetry he would write and string together, but this one belongs with songs like “Sliver”. It even sounds like a song Foo Fighters would do in the late ‘90s. Something that would be put on a late ‘90s teen movie soundtrack.

This sounds New Wave, and New Wave is awesome.
-
I've loved this song since the first time I heard it. Wish they had recorded a studio version of it.
-
The full show of this has to surface. It has a crazy setlist including mexican seafood. Ive sent an email to the place asking if they can help with the surfacing of the full audio/video. You should do the same

Among the finest of Cobains' songs. It's a devastating feeling of loss knowing they never took it to studio (at least to my knowledge).
