Kinda a personal story but a while back when I was in a mental hospital, this was the last song I heard the staff playing for the others before I was released back to my family. This song really hits close to home, and to be honest it makes me feel so happy and free when I remember how far I’ve come from that time of a dark point in my life

I haven't listened to the song in years. This is one of those songs that was over played so much that you just decided to lock it away and then one day you decided to bring it back into the line realized that this is such a great song and you feel stupid for refusing to listen to the song just because it was so great it was played on the radio like all the time

Damn, I had happy tears when this scene came on. GoTG is one of my all-time favorite movies and I was blown away with how uplifting the ending felt. What a great goodbye to the MCU's best family.

I always listened to this when I dreamt about leaving my family's house and make my way alone. The day finally came. I'm writing this on my new home. I feel scared, but the lyrics remind me to not be attached to my past life and be happy for this new jorney.

Mood after the Coronavirus is over

This is the song that helped me accept my sexuality. “Leave all your love and your longing behind” helped me realize that I couldn’t live with my self-doubt forever. It’s time for me to accept myself.

My fiancé ended things shortly before GOTG3 came out. I began to sob when Peter was begging Gamora to try and love him because I remember doing the exact same thing, thank God that scene ended with a joke. But the end with this song made me choke and cry, knowing that eventually I’ll stop feeling this pain of being alone again and can hopefully find someone who will love me for me.

I got so excited when this song played in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie. What a great song to end with!

I have recently just left an extremely emotionally and physically abusive relationship and this song means so much to me. I used to be woken up being called “dog” and abused. now it’s finally over I’m free and the dog days are over!
