It's our first time spear fishing for Northern Pike, and like many things in life, it takes multiple attempts to succeed. Even after several years of targeting pike, they are still a favorite of ours to catch and eat. We celebrate with fresh chowder in a sourdough bowl back at the cabin.

    I just have to say this again. I wish my old dad was alive to watch your videos. His favorite fish was pike. I think because they were tricky to catch, he needed to get into a mind game with them and in the end, they cooked up delicious. He would have LOVED your channel. As do I.
