Congratulations, you just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages (speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently, some English, and a little Mandarin), plays 8 musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in musicology. He was 22 in this performance and is 28 now (only gotten better). He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. His mother is an opera singer and his father is a singer and producer. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, and "Ave Maria" 2021. Each performance will leave you stunned. Thank you for reacting to our Dimash!

Trust me, this barely scratches the surface. This guy is the most talented singer on the planet. He covers everything from opera to rap, does it all brilliantly. He also plays a ton of instruments, speaks and sings in a ton of languages, acts, models, and does it all with more humility than the Dalai Lama.

I will forever be addicted to seeing people discovering Dimash. Thank you for such a wonderful reaction! Please continue your journey with Dimash, it's so worth it!

So many vocal coaches do say they don’t want to hear anything that would raise their expectations, but honestly I’ve never seen anyone prepared enough to hear Dimash for the first time. 😂
  • He's not just the greatest singer in the world, he's probably the greatest singer ever recorded
  • Sings everything from opera, rock, pop, folk, rap. Sings in 14 languages. Plays seven instruments, dances, models, directs. Uses lots of different vocal techniques. He amazes and shocks every new performance. Just when you think he can’t improve, he comes up with something new. His latest mini movie The Story of One Sky, is a masterpiece. Even regular Reactors have to stop to get a breather. So, Maybe try something like Ogni Pietra , rock opera, Italian from The Digital Show, or Sinful Passion, in Russian, or Stranger in English, sort of Arabian nights type of vibe Ikenaide, love song in Japanese. Whatever you choose, will be wonderful. He is also a humble, humanitarian too.

Dimash does not sing in a falsetto really. He sings in a mixed head voice. A true falsetto would not produce vibrato and Dimash can produce vibrato in any of his multiple voices and he can make his vibrato cry, laugh, grieve...
  • He's even better now (yes, I know that's hard to imagine at the moment). Over the last 5 years he has raised the bar considerably from this performance. Strap yourself in if you are going to go further down this rabbit hole. Dimash is going to shock you more than once because he sings in every register, in every style in at least 13 or 14 languages (Mostly Kazakh, English, Italian, Russian and Mandarin. You won't get a handle on just how ridiculous he is until you are at least 5 or 6 songs in... because he's a vocal chameleon. He didn't use whistle register in this song (which was in French), that doesn't kick in for him until after F6... although recently he may have pushed that to past G6. His whistle register then goes off the piano to D8 (maybe more, he won't tell us what his range is so we can only go by live recordings). He will shock you with his ridiculous soprano range and then throw in some base notes like it's nothing. He can sing in head voice up to F6/G6, whistle register up to D8, mix voice up to C6 and chest voice down to C2 (or maybe F1)... but he can sing lower with fry and growls, etc. He can sing Bel Canto as a baritone, tenor, counter tenor and soprano and sounds equally at home in all of it. He does songs in pop, rock, rap, folk and classical style and then fuses them all together in ways that wouldn't work with any other singer. He has degrees in both classical vocal and pop/jazz vocal, plus a masters in composition and currently doing his PhD in Musicology. He is also a master at eastern styles of singing and frequently fuses both east and west into the same song in amazingly innovative ways. He will sound like a literal angel and then break out into a perfect rock scream. He will throw in a jazz or blues melisma and then a note perfect classical melisma... then shock you with an eastern melisma complete with quartertones. He plays with his resonance and breath and uses them as vocal effects in ways that add the most interesting dynamics to songs... it's just masterful. Oh, and he plays a bunch of instruments and even dances. If you want a taste of the versatility of Dimash, I recommend 'Stranger 2021,' 'Ave maria 2021', 'Ikanaide 2021' 'Olimpico' with Igor Krutoy (the one with the thumbnail that looks like a halo of lights around him), 'Screaming 2021', 'Be With Me' the official video, 'Know (Vocalise) from the ARNAU TOUR and 'Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance' with Li Yugeng. Dimash has numerous songs that are completely unsingable for any other singer, but he also has a whole range of 'normal' songs that he sings with the most beautiful angelic, resonant tone. Try 'Qaragym Ai', 'Amanat' or 'Umytylmas Kun (Unforgettable Day) 2021. I'd love to see more of your Dimash reactions. Your face, when he started singing and did the first 2 octave phrase, was exactly me 5 years ago LOL!
  • I love to see new reactors get metaphorically smacked in the face by Dimash. I hate to say it but this was 2017 and Dimash has spent the last 5 years honing that impressive voice even more with new techniques and singing styles. He sings everything from Opera to Rap and will blow your mind every time. His music videos are a work of art in themselves. To let you know how big he's become in the last few years, he held a concert in his home country just over a week ago which sold out to 35,000 people who came from 68 countries around the world just to hear him sing. Btw he has a wicked sense of humour and is renowned for not taking himself seriously, he say he no longer watches reactions to him as he doesn't want to get a big head! 🤣🤣
  • he has male, female, angel, bird, dog, dolphin, electric guitar, violin, flute, ghost, auto tuned, alien voice so that's was an easy things for him... by the way he is from Area51. love your react btw ❤️👍
  • I love to watch people discovering Dimash and being perplexed. You barely scratched the surface of what he is capable to do with his voice. It doesn’t matter which performance of him you choose he will never cease to amaze you. He is the most versatile artist I have ever seen. He isn’t only a good singer, he is a performer, a composer, a multi instrumentalist, he is even an actor in his music videos and he also already wrote a script for one and one he was co directing. He is the full package.
  • 2017, Dimash is only 22. And you haven't seen/heard anything yet. At 28, the standard piano keyboard is his play ground.... Dimash sings in 13 languages, Speaks 3. Try out the term "Head Voice"......Master's Degree in Composition. currently pursuing PHD in Musicology. Dimash sings most genres. Opera, Pop, R&B, jazz, Folk, even Raps, often in the same song. So I am quit certain that you will find performances that will be more your cup of tea.
  • Welcome to Dimash. This is just the tip of the iceberg where Dimash is concerned. He was only 22 at the time of this performance. He has practiced a lot since then and is just insanely talented. His latest MV is a must. He wrote the music and he has a very important message to relate. His acting is very good and you will hear a little more of his range but still not all of it. He is a very humble, appreciative and generous person. One of a kind and a very rare gem. Best in the world to me.
  • @sp72929
The funny thing is, he didn't even showed his whole range here (not even close!) and he was only 22 in this video, he is 28 now and as hard it may be to believe he improved a LOT since then. He is classically trained since age five (both his parents are singers and catched his passion for music and perfect pitch very eaarly). He is a multi-instrumentalist and composer, singing in 14 languages so far. He is singing every style from classical, pop, rock, traditional Kazakh to rap, usually using multiple styles in one song and he is a very thoughtful, gentle and humble young man working hard on his craft. You never knew what to expect with a new song. As unbelievable as it sounds it is not even exaggerated - he is literally single-handedly overwriting what is possible for a human voice.
  • @pamscarr8696
Dimash is the greatest singer in the world, and yes, I am vocally trained. He has a 7+ octave range and trained classically/operatically fulltime from age 5 until age 25. He was 22 here and is now age 28. He did a digital show during faux covd and all I can say is, you should hear him now. ,
  • @natali4ostrov

Данный реакционер даже не представляет сколько всего интересного и удивительного услышит от Димаша. Желаю вам ярких и впечатляющих открытий .
  • Dimash is a greatest singer in the history! No one but him ! If you will continue with him you will understand why! 🙌🏻👍❤️
  • @wbrenne
If you want to dive deeper into the rabbit hole of Dimash's vocals, look for songs like Sinful Passion and Stranger. They will show you more of the qualities of his lower registers, his vocal acrobatics and agility and how much he has improved since 2017. He is singing in almost all genres, so you will find something for your musical taste.
  • @ema6805
His newest songs have stricter copyrights so just know that. You can either blur out video, put writing in front of video or pause every 10-20 seconds.
