ICU nurse here. Love how you can explain things in a way every one can understand. I think you would make a great professor!

I don't know how doctors do it. I could not get woken up at 3am and then immediately go to work. You are a special breed Doc and I'm glad people like you exists! Heroes!

Siobhan, I’m so proud of you. I’ve been following you since your second year as a resident and it’s amazing to see your confidence as a doctor grow. Watching you, I have grown a whole new level of respect for doctors. Congratulations on your last year of residency!!

The way she came back from a code blue, sit down, and continued the conversation she started before the code blue while eating. I would forget 😭

I hope you'll bring us along as you become a licensed rheumatologist!
  • I have no freaking doubt you'll become a professor at some point as well as your position as a doctor. You have that ability to teach stuff and make it interesting. I love your content and I'm not even in the medical field.

The way you stopped yourself at 11:40 before almost complaining is so inspiring. Your positivity during work motivates me so much! Thank you Siobhan!

I recently started working at the hospital, and watching everyone run and scramble when a code blue is announced is unreal. So much respect for all medical staff, nurses, doctors, rpn’s, you name it.

When I lost my first pregnancy. All the nurses were my literal angels. You guys made a horrific, painful experience much easier to tackle. Knowing I wasn’t alone was a huge help. Also my husband being there was a huge help as well. He literally wiped the blood from me because I was panicking and in so much pain. Please stay safe and healthy♥️🥺

I'm a pre-med student and my first day back to college is tomorrow! you motivate me to become the best doctor that I can. I love your medical videos! I am able to learn so much more about medicine and the field. I know from my personal experience and connection along with watching videos and learning more about the medical field that it is where I belong!

I literally started working in healthcare like 2 months ago, and today I was assigned to the ICU, an area I had never worked in before since I started. Talk about intimidating!!! I gained a whole new type of respect for not just doctors and ICU nurses, but nurses in general. I sometimes wonder how they manage to keep it together when they have an emotionally challenging day as a result of what they do. Today I realized that I'm not cut out for nursing. Major respect to all you healthcare workers out there.

A dull day becomes a not so dull day when Violin MD uploads!!!
  • I went to ER for shortness of breath and to get a breathing treatment. I drove myself there cuz of family needs, my heart was beating fast due to ( I thought) all the theophylline and albuterol, but they wouldn’t let me leave. I thought I was fine. I’d had bronchitis before a lot. But I had pneumonia sepsis at 35. I was in the ICU for 6 days. It gave me respect for doctors. Cuz I pleaded to go home to my kids, but they kept me and I’m still here! Thank God! And Health care providers.

I wish I could become Canadian just to have you as my doctor. You have a genuine passion for what you do and I feel like you always provide your patients with the highest quality care
  • I know I won’t ever be a doctor or work with anything that’s medical since I know I wouldn’t be able to handle the responsibility of potentially someone’s life in my hands, but my respect for doctors, nurses and everyone else in this sector is above the bar. It’s incredible the service you provide for every person and I don’t know how you do it ❤

Good work doctor. Your energy and attitude are inspiring. I admit this past year and a half have given me compassion fatigue and made me jaded. You help me remember why we do this.

I'm a PSW in my local ICU, watching this felt like I was right in the thick of it! I have been watching your content for years, but now being on the frontline myself, I have a whole new appreciation for you! Wish I had you as a resident in my hospital!
  • @Kaleigh_07
Your videos are the only thing that makes being a doctor look like something I would want to do. I want to be a teacher and definitely would not get in to bed school haha but you make it look so interesting
  • @alexaa515
I just LOVE how positive you are. Seriously, whenever I watch your videos I’m always like “wow, life is so awesome when you have a positive perspective like her”. You rock! Thanks for your hard work and all you do :-)
