Zendaya’s an example of why a healthy household is so important. She’s confident and liked by so many because she knows how to talk to people. Her parents gave her a safe space to grow and pushed her to be her best self. Such a shame not everyone has that opportunity and most people are not understanding of others.

Zendaya: "It's not a lack of talent. It's a lack of opportunity." What a brilliant young lady!

Her facial expressions are exactly like her mother's it's adorable
  • Her mom seems like such a cool person. I love their relationship
  • @Spectolect
Zendaya's mom is so forthright and down to earth. No makeup, all truth, chill vibe. She's fortunate just in this aspect. ♡

The story about Zendaya getting stick for being a ‘bystander’ is an example of great parenting. What a great lesson! Her parents have most definitely raised her right.

Love seeing her mom speak bc it's so obvious all the traits and mannerisms she passed to Zendaya. It always fascinates me how much we are like our parents.

The way her mom looks at her in such a proud way, letting her shine. Some parents would jump in and finish a story or talk over their child. She is so blessed to have such amazing parents. I try to do my best to raise my son to speak his mind and know it is good to have an opinion. Zendaya's communication skills are off the charts!

You can tell Zendaya is comfortable talking to Tina, and because she's with her mom, because she almost said "I got my ass beat" but switched it to "I got cussed out" 😂😂😂
  • This was a really interesting interview. Her family did an amazing job raising her.
  • Some of us with unhealthy parents know we just couldn’t do this no matter how famous we were hypothetically. I don’t have many examples of heathy parent-child relationships so I’m watching this and very interested. There is so much pain and toxicity surrounding my relationship with my parents and secrets - it’s nice to just see people who actually love eachother as family members and look at eachother with love in their eyes haha. Raise your children right, people.
  • Mom’s sacrifice to work a second job so her kid can go to Disney turned into a window of opportunity for Zendaya to see what sparked her interest. Mom figured out how to make it happen by bartering her service for tuition to allow Zendaya to hone her craft! Dad sacrificed to support his daughter’s talent and ambition. Her parents should get one of her Trophies!!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
  • I love that her mom was a teacher for 20 years. It is underrated job. It taught Z humblness definetly and I think that also she learned appreciating. And it kindness. It made her who she is.
  • Oh Zendaya you're always so intelligent, well grounded. I can see how much she love her parents and family. Good interview.
  • Mama Tina is so welcoming and really just sits down and has a conversation. Zendaya and her mom were so kind and open. This was a great interview.
  • I adore Zendaya. She is so refreshing in this world of insta-no-talent fame. She has impeccable style, talent off the chart, and remains humble. Her parents did an excellent job with her. Also, love her dynamic with her mom. You can tell there's a lot of love, respect, and admiration on both parts.
  • @MyBiasOpinion
This is the reason I love Zendaya. This young women is beyond her years and her soul is so pure and beautiful.
  • @viribaby
I can see some of Beyoncé and Zendaya’s mannerisms in their moms.
  • This is such a creative way to begin an interview, with food! it's relaxing and it provides a very authentic expression of ease. I think more interviews should be done by breaking bread with everyone including the host. It was a great interview and I appreciated the comments from Zendaya's mom regarding how she would pay the tuition cost. As mothers, we do a lot for children. It is great to see such appreciation from her daughter.
