In follow up to my video on my favorite loop pedals, I thought I would make you guys a straightforward video on how to actually create a loop! My top tip is to give yourself time- using a loop pedal can be a humbling experience! You might think you have good timing, but the loop pedal will be sure to point out all your timing imperfections! haha Anyway, hope you have fun with this, and thanks for watching!

The hardest thing to understand here is how you don't have a million subscribers. You will! Keep up the great work.

Thank you for emphasizing the timing of the button press!!! It is a frustrating learning curve.

I just got this Ditto device. This was a very cool demonstration. You’re very talented! 72 year old jazz and blues player here

Greetings from Hungary! I found your other looper video when I was looking up a few videos on the Ditto. Nice job explaining the various things to look out for... I second most of them. I've so far only ever played with one looper (the Digitech Jamman) and that one doesn't have quantizing functions. It definitely takes a bit of practice to get used to hitting the "1" correctly each time. Your demo here is excellent, nice playing! That's a beautiful finish on your guitar too.

Great lesson well done! You are hitting every detail I struggled with also. When you said “right on the one” my brain immediately thought “yeah 😂 ESPECIALLY when it’s NOT the one”. …like when it flows better with the song to start the loop on a pickup note or on the TWO…. still ONE to the players stomping foot. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Great tone!

Just the information I need. Thank so much 😊! I think it better than a metronome, my opinion.

Great tutorial! And I like the style. Are you following a certain pentatonic or scale for the solo? New to soloing so wondering how you ended up there.
