I did some research Howling Wolf had health insurance for his band members. And was financially independent of the record company. His wife was their accountant. Everybody retired with money.

This dude should have won an Oscar for playing howling wolf
-
The world owes a debt of gratitude to black musicians that can never be repaid !
-
Best part of this movie to me. Wolf was a BIG FINE country man and he didn't take NO shit
-
This shit is so raw. It's a shame we don't see passion like this today.
-
The man who played Wolf in this movie owned every scene he was in. He scared me and excited me at the same time. LOL!
-
He definitely is OSCAR WORTHY. Absolutely superb!!!
-
Black Culture. Black Excellence !! 💯
-
Nobody could play that part except him he is perfect for the part
-
That's not just a man that's a lion singing. The amount of feeling and soul in this song gives me goosbumps
-
The actors who played Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Etta James and Check Berry all did their own singing to give more authenticity. Every one of them did a fine job, but especially Eamonn Walker as Howlin' Wolf
-
Smooth af staring down muddy while singing smoke stack to muddy’s girl that’s OG playa shit right there
-
Emmon Walker, 👑👀this man deserves an Oscar for the impeccable simple Marvelous performance he delivered in this movie
-
whoever this guy is playing howling wolf nailed it.
-
Howlin Wolf was a smart man when it came to his business. He didn't believe in credit, and paid cash for everything he owned, and even provided health insurance for members of his band.
-
Music don't get no better than this. the guy did great 👍
-
Cadillac Records was a memorable movie experience for me and Howlin Wolfs portrayal blew me away...just breathtaking!
-
10 years later 20/20 I wish they would have made a movie with this man as Howlin Wolf. I can't see another actor playing him he truly put the spirit of wolf in his body

We just recently were in Chicago and had the privilege of doing a 2 hour tour of Chess recording studio!! Let me tell you it is something I will never ever forget. It was exactly like we were sitting in on a recording session when the amazing woman who lead the tour, played original tracks in the original studio. WOW!! Blew me away. Checked off the bucket list Afterwards we went and visited the graves of Muddy, Lil WALTER, Howlin Wolf and Willie Dixon- all buried within an hour of the studio. What a beautiful bittersweet day never to be forgotten!! Blues lives on forever
