Although we’ve been enjoying Manila it does have this reputation of being polluted. But guess what? Inside this over populated city lies a beautiful district called Bonifacio Global City aka BGC.

Wow! It’s so different from the other neighborhoods of Manila. It’s unbelievable and reminds us a bit of New York City! Watch to see what impressed us the most!

To me I don't consider the Philippines to be a third world country. There are so many beautiful places there and I wish that the US cities would be as clean as BGC and I wish that people would be as friendly as the people in the Philippines. This American just loves the Philippines.
  • @sciexplained
And Philippines is newly industrialized country! Keep your fact updated. ❤
  • @eugener.910
I am an american citizen, born and raised in Baguio City that I really love and appreciate. I did not want to leave Philippines itself but my Mom told I can always come back if I don't like to stay in San Francisco, Ca. I fell in love my new home. Thank you for the Manila and Metro Manila information. Now I know.
  • There is new city being built in the north, its called New Clark City which twice the size of Manhattan New York. There are also other business districts being built in the sea, one is twice the size of BGC and its called Horizon Manila and new airocity where New Manila Airport is being built. Im excited for the future of the Philippines.
  • @noorirwan686
Wow BGC looks like Orchard Rd. The favourite hangout place for filipinos in Singapore 🥳🤍
  • @jmcasas17
You forgot to mention the newly opened Japanese mall in BGC called Mitsukoshi. Enjoy your stay and keep safe always. 👍🏽🇵🇭
  • @vickyc4509
Correct! BGC is in Taguig which is part of Metro Manila. Enjoy your stay in our beautiful country PHILIPPINES.
  • @ericvibal
Finally! Somebody got it right that Makati, BGC (Taguig), Pasig are not Districts of a big city called Manila but part of what's called Metro Manila =D
  • @ronnienestor
True. You’re right. The Philippines has it all: rich, middle and poor.. visible to the eyes of first time visitors. The infrastructure is being improved. The first Metro Manila subway is under construction. It is the biggest infra project, full underground metro that would connect the business districts of Makati, BGC, Ortigas, populated areas, commercial and residential all the way to airport.
  • Hellow, just subscribed to your channel kababayan.Welcome back to our country.God bless your family...
  • Your new subscriber here. I'm impressed, the kids are good vloggers as well. They participated throughout this vlog. Enjoy Manila. Looking forward to seeing your next videos. 👍😊🇵🇭🇨🇦

Philippines is no longer a 3rd world country now. Just like vietnam and the others, we are now a developing country. By the next year we are projected to become upper middle income class country. We are the 2nd fastest growing economy in terms of GDP in asia.
  • @AlllAboutYou
Great content and research! Well done! love love xx Fun fact: Filipinos started celebrating Christmas way early (starting September - December) we call them BER months since these months ends in BER. Unfortunately we do not celebrate Thanksgiving but we recognize its a thing in the US. :)
  • @ddmamay
Thank you for this beautiful vlog. I apologize for some negative comments here made by some of my kababayan against your vlogs. Some Filipinos are just overly sensitive regarding some issues in the country. This only shows how passionate Pinoys are in expressing their love for the country. Filipinos are very active on social media; hence, the county is dubbed the world's social media capital. Those vloggers who are based here in the Philippines fully know by now how powerful social media is in this country which, at times, can be very toxic. Kudos to you for handling those negative comments well so far.
  • @ahdeborbz
i love the way the kids tell the history of the place.very simple and there cute too😊😊😊
  • I'm amazed. I was on errand years ago and just happened to pass through BGC feeling I'm lost and wandering. Your vlog educates me what's inside BGC. Wishing to one time experience personally that beautiful place. Your vlog is great to orient someone like me. Thanks and more thanks!
  • REMINDER: BGC is not just the High Street area. You can also walk from high street to the Uptown BGC since the city is pedestrian friendly.
  • I really appreciate putting some infos/historical facts in your videos. Welcome to Philippines 🇵🇭
  • @johnserra0070
3rd world country is quite an antiquated term to describe the Philippines. newly industrialized would be more appropriate. major cities in the country are quite modern and updated like Cebu , davao, Bacolod etc.
