I can't watch this without getting emotional. This was the most incredible moment in live music I've ever seen. It was incredible. The energy in the crowd was unlike anything I've ever felt at any festival, stadium, or theater in 20+ years of seeing live music. With Michael Houser's health steadily declining we all knew that the end was near. Emotions were already high, so when ya'll came out and sat it on the best Tall Boy in history it brought me to tears, and instantly became the highlight of my festival that I still very much connect to to this day. Im going to watch it 2 or 3 more times and go about my day. I wish you all well. Love long and prosper.

If there's anybody that would summon the Holy Ghost, it's Dottie Peoples. I was there and the presence of the Holy Ghost was there too!!

One of the most unbelievable experiences in live music ever...the first Bonaroo was awesome. This was the highlight. The whole weekend was spiritual and this welcomed the holy ghost to the proceedings.
  • Almost 22 years ago, church broke out in a dusty, hot ass field in the middle of rural Tennessee. No one there was the same the next morning. Dottie and panic summoned exactly what they wanted. I’ve never felt anything like it before or since.

I was there ,not far from the front . I stood in the heat all day for this. There were a lot of tears and a lot of hugs that night . A lot of summoning of the HG. We tried so hard! I started crying at some point at that show ,and some sweet guy picked me up and and hugged me and swung me around. I miss those times and those people.

This was one of the best nights of my life. I remember this performance like it was last night. I was very close to the front. Then, after the set ended the crew handed trash bags out, asked us to pass them back through the crowd and to clean up after ourselves. And we did. And it was such a nice, happy place to be Ahh, memories.

One of the most amazing moments at one of the most amazing weekends of my life! 20 years old and not a care in the world surrounded by amazing people and out of this world music non-stop for 4 days. When it was all over I was exhausted and all around a changed man for the BETTER. Thank the good Lord for Widespread Panic and everyone that rocked that festival. There's never been another Bonnaroo that held a candle to that one.
