The war in Ukraine began with Crimea and must end with its liberation from Russia, President Volodymyr Zelensky has said.

Ukraine's president was speaking after a string of explosions hit a Russian airbase there, killing one person.

Mr Zelensky did not mention the blasts but said: "Crimea is Ukrainian and we will never give it up."

An escalation??? Seriously... We can attack you but if you attack us it will be deemed an escalation!!!

So Ukraine had nothing to do with the Russians accidentally destroying their own missiles & airfield? Hey, sounds good.
  • If you have been invaded unlawfully what would be an escalation? Defending yourself or recovering that which was stolen?

I think one good advice to Ukraine president "Not all wars are the same".

It was not an attack by Ukraine, but a gesture of good will, to provide entertainment to russian beach goers.

Seems like a very tall order, but I hope they can do it!

In other words, it was merely incompetence, not enemy actions.

Official Statement from Moscow: Situation under control, we were having a summer barbeque at the air force base and had trouble with the propane tank, no damage or injuries to report

What do you mean Aksyonov is russian-appointed governor?... He was a governor back in 2014 before the whole annexation story... Like why would you even bother to say that?

"The situation is under control" Which is worse? We blew up our own facility through incompetence, or, the country we invaded has hit us hard?
  • How can it be termed an escalation ? Ukraine has every right to try to reclaim its own territory

    Amen. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦
  • 'A bitter escallation' seems an absurd thing to say. The Crimea was Ukrainian territory less than ten years ago. Russia's I want it I'll take it behaviour is the 'bitter escallation'

"Everything is under control" said by the panicking guy.

[Title] Damn right it needs to. That's where this war started, and that's where it will likely end. 💗🇺🇦🕊️
