The Yucca tree can grow lush and green in a pot. This video shows how to stop your Yucca from dying from rootbound. Do this every three or four years and yucca will not turn brown leaves and your plant lives happily for decades. #yucca #yuccaplantas #Brownleaves

  • Thanks for sharing this helpful information on caring for the yucca plant.
  • Thank you. My yucca plant didn’t have any black on the leaves. Just brown tips. But some of its roots were like paper. It was putting out new growth in the center, but I still repotted like you did. It might have not gotten enough light. It’s tough in my patio area to find a place to give it adequate light. So now it sits at the edge of driveway. Also the plant was bone dry. I hope my plant continues to grow. Paper roots aren’t good. Thanks. And if you have any other suggestions for me, I welcome them. Thanks again.

Thank you this made me much braver to chop the roots 😊

Thanks for this, really helpful! CN I ask why you added so much water and mentioned to keep it out of sunlight? I thought golden rule for Yucca is not water so much and keep in direct sunlight

What if the stalk is already hollow? I think I wasn't watering enough, but could be root-bound. Do I take a green piece and try to grow a new one? Love your channel, just found it! Never saw that repotting technique before. I thought the roots of plants are delicate and so had to carefully remove entire plant and put it and old roots in new larger pot lol. Is that for all plants, or just yucca cane? Thank you!!!❤
