Published 2021-08-05
Dr. Rowe shows how to INSTANTLY relieve neck pain at the base of the skull. All of these exercises can be done at home and require no special equipment.

In this video, we're going to deal with the muscles at the base of the skull, the upper neck, notably the SUB-OCCIPITAL muscles.

When these upper neck muscles become tight and achy they may cause a lot of issues including tension HEADACHES, loss of motion into the neck, and just downright PAIN.

Let's RELIEVE this upper neck pain in a very easy step-by-step guide. We're going to focus on self-massaging those muscles, stretching them out, and also strengthening them -- so hopefully we'll have a lot less issues of neck pain in the future.

All of these exercises can be done AT HOME, don't require any special equipment, and may give quick relief -- even in as little as 30 SECONDS!

So let's get started and get rid of that pain at the base of the skull right now!

One thing they taught me in massage academy, that I really wish had been mentioned here, was to beware of working on specific areas like the neck more than a few times a week at most, because it can lead to tissue damage if you don’t allow for proper healing time. Especially if you’re doing muscle scraping. The last thing you want to do is give yourself permanent damage by fixing an issue too often. There’s a fine line between doing what feels good, and knowing what your body needs in the long term.
  • I just wanted to say thank you for being so generous with your knowledge. It is greatly appreciated. Bless you.
  • gooday mate, im 70 broke my neck at 9, pain all my life a busy full on life too, needed a variaty of pain killers all my life as well. mildly did my version of your exercises in the early evening, honestly an ache until later in the evening then a warm pleasant feeling below my head. following day went about my usual activities, had lunch and realised i had been unaware of my neck so far all day, first time im sure. this is the first time ive walked around with my mind in grin mode, if you know what i mean. thank you so much for opening up my mind to a realistic method of getting on with life. i wish i knew this before.

Thank you. I’ve had pain at the base of my skull, chronically, for years. I did as instructed on the video, with the big spoon, with the video. Whew, much pain relief!!! It’s like a big breath of fresh air. I had almost forgotten the feeling of no pain and stiffness. WOW!!!! Thank you so much. Texas

I cannot believe it! Tonight my headache over one eye was particularly bad and I was feeling a bit desperate. I had an inkling it might be something to do with tight shoulder and neck muscles, but this video practically read my mind, it just jumped into my youtube feed and I had not searched for anything to do with it. Miracle!! I tried the spoon technique and it was very effective, I carried on with shoulder and neck massages and I feel so much better. My headache is gone. Thank you so much for your no nonsense approach and for appearing out of nowhere. Sorry for long review, just feel so relieved!!

You just saved me today. I had a stiff neck and back after lifting some weights incorrectly for about 2 weeks and after watching your video, just within 5 minutes I could feel my body almost returning to normal. Thanks you.

I'm still struggling to fix my ongoing neck issues, but I've also found that press ups against a wall (hands at shoulder height, feet about 18 - 24 inches away from wall, squeezing shoulder blades together as I sink upper body towards the wall) really helps when it starts to affect the back of my skull. For anyone who might also benefit.

I can’t thank you enough for your experience and suggestions. I have been suffering with neck pain and severe daily headaches for a very long time and tried every way to get rid of them. When I saw this video, I literally felt like crying as this was one more thing I could try thank would give me some hope. I didn’t know how I could cope with these symptoms for the rest of my life. I have severe anxiety and try staying as busy as possible but these symptoms prevent me from enjoying anything. I hold and rub my forehead and the lower back of the head all day long so watching your video targeting these areas made me so happy. I am 64 years old and now will be a dedicated subscriber. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
  • Your 1st demonstration was exactly what was needed! I felt knots on both sides of my upper neck below my skull and kept pressing down on it with the handle of the spoon until the bumps were gone! First time they have ever been worked out and my neck feels incredible. I also never thought about blood flow being valuable for healing. Thank you for all your work and videos. Your channel deserves millions of subscribers and views and all the greatness headed your way 🙏
