  • I'm so disappointed that they didn't utilize Desmond's character more. When I was little I always thought they'd have these games build up to him retaining this ancient assassins knowledge, and eventually having a modern day game with no ties to history besides the current power templars within Abstergo.
  • Can't blame him for falling for that elevator trick, none of his ancestors even knew what an elevator was.
  • 3:51 Mans really drew his semi-automatic pistol like it was still 1776 and fired it once and missed lol
  • He literally has the skills and strength of THREE assassins!!!
  • Seeing Desmond finally put all his Assassin skills to use was extremely satisfying. The ending of the game was NOT.
  • Sucks that they killed off Desmond. It felt like they were building him up to be one of the greatest assassins that has ever lived.
  • "21st century and you're still going around with a little knife for protection?" Said the genie who approached the range of a trained assassin's knife.
  • This mission made me wish we had an assassins creed game set in the present rather than the past😭
  • I love how with these segments, there were no UI, no button prompts, minimal indicators. Really simulating what it really would be like fighting in the “real” world than in the Animus.

Honestly, despite Vidic supposedly being a highly intelligent man, it was pretty stupid of him to think Desmond would give him the Apple WITHOUT using it. Especially considering that Desmond's bloodline is actually known to be highly resistant to the effects of Isu artifacts.
  • Ah yes, the Assassins. Masters of stealth. Blending into a crowd, striking and vanishing into thin air. Faceless and unknowable. Truly, Desmond has learned well.
  • -enters by the front door -no gun -visibly armed with knives -ghetto hood on the head -someway make his way through a building full of security guards armed with handguns -brutally kill 50 of them while they are trying to neutralize him non lethally -escape thanks to a weird magic ball /S T E A L T H/

Its so disappointing that Desmond was just killed off and forgotten about by ubisoft. This could have been the perfect opportunity to give us a modern day assassins creed
  • "They know I'm here", look, we agree he is a badass , but you gotta admit him walking in the most possible modern assassin's outfit he could get, kinda gave it away, lmao

If only we got continuation of Desmonds story... There was something special about going back to modern time and knowing about the secrets and ancient powers of the world. It gave you this sense of being on top of the world. Him walking into abstergo and all the doctors being scared just by seeing him. Brings me back to the first game where you went back to the brotherhood as an old man and everyone acknowledged you. Like a ghost coming to haunt someone.
  • Nobody: Guard at 3:51: "Guys, I got this." Guard: Pulls out his gun and proceeds to shoot the wall directly.
  • I both hate and love this level, it’s like “YES, Desmond is kicking all the ass and showing what a badass he is” but I feel it should have been significantly more difficult. Why are the guards so likely armed? They kidnapped an Assassin Grandmaster and the taunted the Order, they should be ready for War, not relying on a bunch of security guards and one unstable experiment
  • Desmond with the innate/inherited abilities of Altair, Ezio, and now Connor just seems so damn OP lmao
  • Desmond walked in the front door. He was the only one to walk out. He's not an assassin, he's the oncoming storm.

Asking him to “give me the Apple” was the equivalent of a movie villain asking the vigilante to “let me go!” while being held by their tie, dangling on the precipice of a rooftop.
