I'm the first one to call out a white woman when she is doing cultural appropriation. But this right here is not. It's equivalent to us straightening our hair guys. Some things are offensive but this is not. Curly hair is a NATURAL feature just like straight hair is. I hate when ppl say black women are culturally appropriating white women by straightening their hair, so I'm not gonna turn around and hate this girl for doing the same. YOU CANNOT APPROPRIATE NATURAL FEATURES!! Doesn't matter if it's curly or straight!! I would have a problem if she said curly hair looks good on her and not me but that's not the case.

If you have straight hair, you want curly, and if you have curly hair, you want straight :P

As a cosmetologist, I have had MANY white women with curly hair just like this naturally & more coarse than this. Race has nothing to do with it. Also, just because she's white doesn't mean she can't use oils in her hair. I'm white & I use tons of oils in my hair because it's super thick & coarse. So please stop saying anything negative.

To me, this is no different than me wearing my natural hair flat ironed or blown out for a week. I get bored sometimes too, so I change up the style, no big deal.
