The Photo and the Story: A Second American Civil War is Something to Avoid

Published 2022-10-17
Despite the best efforts of the establishment media the United States, mercifully so far, has not descended into a hot civil war. In this video I discuss a 2010 photo of a Civil War monument in an Upstate New York rural cemetery and talk about how I think a civil war today would be vastly different - and far more deadly - than the one that raged between 1861-65.

I really hope we can keep our imperfect union together. But I also hope that if we cannot stand as one United States of America any longer, that our political leaders at least have the courage to sit down together and come to a peaceful, negotiated settlement to split up the country without resorting to violence. I hope it doesn't come to that. It would be a grave insult to all those who fought and died to protect the union for us to give that up now. But the idea to pick up arms in the street on the way to that same end result offends me far more.
