“Would Haltmann J-walk?” Haltmann would buy the entire road, hack the traffic light, and make sure there’s as many cars waiting as possible before he crossed the street. So while technically it’s not J-walking, the intent is there.

Back during elementary years whenever my mom would pick me up from school we'd have to cross a street/intersection with no traffic lights, sort of like that one road where DDD took over the playthrough for a second to progress the game earlier in the video

0:52 So, literally nobody has mentioned this for months, so I'm gonna mention it. Failboat, in his infinite wisdom, indeed does know that Kirby doesn't jaywalk. However, in that infinite wisdom, he neglected to take into account that he is at a zebra crossing here, where pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way.
