PLARIUM HAVE TO START PAYING ATTENTION TO THEIR COMPETITION! | Raid: Shadow Legends

Wanted to do a comparison between Raid Shadow Legends and Eternal Evolution. Raid is the king in this market at the moment but if they are not careful could be put down by emerging great games implementing things Raid could and should have done ages ago!

Didn’t even mention how gear swaps are free in EE and no fear leveling is wasted because that piece’s lvls can be used to upgrade another piece. Also, no punishment for failing activities in EE as it doesn’t use the ‘key’ when you fail so much more friendly for experimentation.

The last few weeks, the time and money I would've normally spent in Raid has gone to EE. Pretty simple for me - I feel like I get better value for my time and money from EE now.

This is the video I've been waiting for. Eternal Evolution is so rewarding to the F2Per. Raid started feeling like a full time job for minimal rewards.
  • The thing that put me off the most in raid is the balancing of void champions , they are SO difficult to get and when you end up with a Ailil or jingwong after 1 year of playing you want to cry when you see how OP some of the other void really is
  • I total agree with this :) The one thing i think you didn't take in consideration that EE still has a lot of room to improvement (More dungeon, more heroes, skins, more levels, more gears ...) where raid is pretty much settled and they don't listen to feedbacks

My main problem with Raid is that you can't experiment, I mean you can but the price is steep. The resources are so tight that using a book on the wrong champion will set you back a couple of weeks if not months. There are many champions that I really want to try even if everyone say they are bad but I just don't because I need to manage my resources. Changing masteries costs gems after one try, same with blessings. Changing equipment costs silver. It's insane.

I’ve been a hardcore Raid player over 3 years but EE is now the first game I turn on everyday and I’m spending a little money in EE but refuse to give Plarium another dime. EE is so player friendly and generous!

The sad part is so long as Raid's revenue is trending the right way, there's no real reason for them to listen to the community nor care about it.

Resource costs worth a mention I think - LOVE the fact you can regear for free, Invest in gear knowing the costs can effectivel;y be recouped, roll back character progression and recoup resources for free, take on a new battle stage - for free etc

Been having an absolute blast on EE. It’s been significantly cutting into my raid time too. (Which I don’t mind)

we have to say a thank you to HH for putting 40 minutes of his life to tell us his thoughts and experience and the things he thinks need impovement in each game it means a lot especially the fact that he looked on all the player perspectives
  • @Zx180100
Yes Raid is really popular here in Brazil, even with most of the players been F2P because our store is too expensive. For some unknown reason they decide to put the prices in dollar.
  • @hotpocket1550
I got my friends into raid for a few weeks in they said it was too Grindy and time consuming, now they’re playing eternal evolutions and telling me it’s a lot better
  • Time & P2W for me are the biggest issue in raid for me like you said in EE you can send an hour and do everything you need to do for daily stuff while Raid depending on were you are at in the game 4+ hours. something I will say is around champs I like seeing new champs in raid but getting the champs that you really want is extremely hard. like at this point with how many champs there are in the game they could increase the odds of pulling legendary champs from shards as there is 146 non-voids and 54 void champs to get from shards having a 0.5% or at best a 1% chance to get a legendary from 2 type of shards is just really bad then you are hoping for the 1 or 2 champs you really want
  • @brianwalk108
If Reid had a search bar to find your champions, and they had a better way to feed commons and rank up food, that would be huge
  • @Battl3K1ng69
EE and all the other competitors over the years need to realize to make it big in this genre please bring out pc client :)
  • @iHawkeye1309
Raid needs to have special shards we can get that are specific to a certain faction to counter the massive champ pool. For example you get an ancient or sacred skinwalker shard and it only pulls from that faction.
  • @kenbiemac337
Lots of information in this video. Thank you. EE definitely is easier on the time factor. Raid soaks up about 6 hour a day vs EE's 1-2 max. Raid needs to work on lot of stuff, but time is a factor that might burn out new players, or maybe not? We will find out for sure.

Some other things I really like about EE. The 2 or 3 pop ups you get have a check box saying don't show me again today. But also the pop ups aren't to spend they are to tell you about events. The other thing is while you are in a dungeon getting prototypes, gear, or commanders you can change between auto and manual on the fly during the fight with individual champions. Need to redirect nuker damage while leaving the rest of the team doing their thing no problem. Also the shop offers are reasonably priced in my opinion if you want to spend.
