The galaxy series has always been my favourite ever. I grew up with Galaxy, and booted up my WiiU to play both games and fully completed them (Yes even The Perfect Run) Brought back so many memories

The first game I ever got was Mario Galaxy 2, followed by the original. My whole life I’ve struggled with explaining how I felt. But for about 2 hours a day, I’d sit down in front of my Wii, and the beautiful atmosphere and story of these 2 games would help me connect with myself more than anything else could. This wonderful game has created memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Nintendo

long jump in galaxy is insane for how l o n g you fly with the gravity around the planets. mario literally makes a gravity turn and goes into orbit there is also a secret move i didn't know about until beating the game, which is to spin and ground pound at the same time, which give you a tiny homing effect with a little animation and sound

Mario can dive into the water, did you know that? If you get to the edge of a cliff over a large body of water, when you're close enough to the edge Mario will start looking directly down into the water. Press A and he'll literally perform an Olympic dive into the water! How cool is that?

i play video games every single day and I play every single genera under the sun. "what is your favorite video game" is such a massive question and hard for many to answer. to me its easy its Super Mario Galaxy... without a single doubt in my mind. From the crazy trippy worlds to the PERFECT live band music to the sad open nostalgic vibe its literally a perfect game

I know the pain of collecting every star,including the green ones. I did it on the Wii. I still remember getting the congratulations mail in the mailbox on the Wii from the Nintendo group for getting every star in Mario galaxy. I miss my childhood lol. Also yes,the black bomb boos are freaking adorable 🥰

Watched the entire thing from beginning to end. Probably my favorite Mario game ever (Galaxy 2 is right there with it.). Can’t believe it’s been 16 years, but it’s aged BEAUTIFULLY. Can’t wait for the Galaxy 2 run!

I remember playing Super Mario Galaxy when I was young and ever since it came to the switch I'm absolutely glad I got the chance to take it with me anywhere I go, of course I got it digitally before it got removed but you can still buy it physically at least. Super Mario Galaxy is such a beautiful masterpiece

Mario galaxy is #1 for me in terms of Wii games. Sonic and the black knight is also really close. I swear, you dont know what having fun is like until you use the wii remote as a sword.

I will forever be grateful to this single game for it is the sole reason I play video games at all today. The impression this game left on me as a 6 year old was so impactful that even now as a near 20 year old i still get awestruck at the visuals and i will admit a little emotional at the ending. I will always be thankful that Nintendo made it and my family bought it for me
