"Change, Humility, and the Hope for Revival in America" Pastor Todd Lamphere at City of Destiny

Tonight, Pastor Todd Lamphere is teaching about change from Matthew 5. God is the only one who can bring about true change in our lives, not the world. He goes on to talk about the importance of revival and the spirit of God that brings about transformation in our hearts. He then touches on the importance of humility and how it can help us to become more like Jesus. Pastor Lamphere then speaks about how people often view the poor with contempt, but in Godβs eyes, they are blessed. He also speaks about how pride can lead to spiritual brokenness and how we must turn away from sin in order to be blessed. He then speaks about the importance of the church and how it can be a beacon of hope in the world. Pastor Lamphere then speaks about how we need to be honest with ourselves and with others in order to bring about change. He finishes his sermon by speaking to the youth pastor and intercessors, encouraging them to be examples of the change we want to see in the world.
