If we feel out of control by having an addiction, we are also more accepted by most of society than if we were mostly perfect. That is scary to possibly not be accepted. Like sugar and cheeses, they both cause a chemical of feel good, more powerful than cocaine, and easier to get. Food is an easy get way vehicle, we all have to eat. However we become the vessel for the parasites that love to keep us feeding them. Choices are the lesson plans we give ourselves.

Very interesting insights, however, I would classify a sugar addiction as being more physical and, I suppose, physiological, than “a habit.” Sugar addiction is when your body is burning, almost exclusively, sugar, glucose, instead of fat. Over time, when one adheres to a ketogenic diet or something very similar to that, the sugar addiction can actually be completely resolved. Once the body converts to burning fat, instead of sugar, it cravings absolutely disappear.
