Wright was such an incredible boxer. And he did it all with skill and technique. He wasn't the fastest fighter, he didn't hit very hard, and he wasn't a freak athlete - He did it all with tactical boxing

I remember watching this fight live with my dad kept saying, "Keep that stick in a** wink." My uncle was like "aye man calm down with that stick stuff man."

This is the reason why the jab is the most important punch in boxing. It sets up the rear hand or the cross-hook or the cross-uppercut combination.

Wright is the only boxer who Oscar de la hoya openly admitted he never wanted to be matched with. Considering all the top boxers Oscar fought that speaks volumes about how great Winky was.

Wright is such an under rated fighter. The guy had an amazing career yet only a few remember him because he wasn’t flashy.

Winky had a great jab. One of the best jabs in the business, just not recognized by most because he is a Southpaw. Always a great high guard too.

Tito looked like an utter fool in there. No head movement resulted in his head being snapped back every second. No defense. No ring IQ.

This reminds me of when I was 11 years old and bigger than a little Mexican kid next door who trained in boxing. I knew I was bigger and stronger and could easily knock him out and I thought I would win because of that. I just couldn't hit him. I kept getting hit. It didn't hurt but I knew I was the loser. That is how I feel Trinidad felt here. Losing like this is something else. Winning like this is spectacular. Winky Wright was awesome.

Looks like Wright was underrated, he wasn't fast the man just knew how to box. I've never seen a fighter make Trinidad like he was an ordinary fighter but Wright did.

This is why Winky was one of the most ducked boxers ever. When everyone as at 147 and 154...everybody ducked him.

i remember this fight. i really wanted tito to win.... but wright whooped his ass. he won fair and square, and very comfortably. you cant make excuses for your favourite boxer losing.

Wow !!! Winky was great !!! That sucks we didn't see enough of him.You can see why they ducked him !!! I remember Emanual Stewart talking highly about Winky Wright. They all knew.
