Great idea on the shelf and curtain. And love the color of the door. The pic is so pretty. You better slow down...before you know it..the house will be done. LOL then you'll want to change it all. Lol

Just a thought. Attach 2 inch wood pieces around the perimiter of the shelf facing down. Attach skirt pieces to each side with staples on the inside. Then use tension rod up under for skirt panel on front.

Looks great. Try the white plumbers tape on your pipe and then put the other pipe on. Should help hold and stop the rattle 😊

Beautiful space … love the idea. You do know that curtain is going to get filthy at some point … I hope it can withstand being washed on a regular basis?
