Astronomers have identified the most massive stellar black hole yet discovered in the Milky Way galaxy. This black hole was spotted in data from the European Space Agency's Gaia mission. The discovery was made by chance, according to scientists. The black hole is 33 times the mass of the Sun, which makes it enormous. Because the Sun is 333,000 times the mass of the Earth. This black hole is close to the Earth as well. It is only 2,000 light years away. What are black holes? What are stellar black holes? What does this new discovery mean for the world? Palki Sharma tells you.

Wrong, the largest black hole in the galaxy is Sagittarius A*, it's mass is like 4 million suns, and the whole galaxy orbits around it.
-
this black hole (33 times heavier than the sun) is the biggest found so far in milky way other than the one in center of the milky way (4 million times heavier than the sun)
-
Sagittarius A* is the biggest blackhole in milkyway, which is at the center of our galaxy.
-
The biggest black hole in our galaxy is Sagittarus A, which is in the centre of our galaxy. I think 33 times the size of the sun is pretty normal in the scale of universe
-
Everybody thinks God is fake but he is within you like sithrragupta it's your soul ❤
-
Yeah yeah we all get it it is Sagittarius A*. But this one is the iggest black hole in our Sun’s neighborhood not in our whole Galaxy. It has been on news for a while now for going unnoticed living such close proximity to our Sun. Yeah 2,000 light years is close.

33 times bigger doesn't mean 33 times mass😂😂black hole have very very very high density

Thanks Didi from Canada

Get well soon palki

Love this kind of stuff

Good

33xSolar Mass is like on the really low side of BH. Possibly the size of DC or so. Massive BH are size of solar system!
-
The Milky Way galaxy's center is home to a supermassive black hole called Sagittarius A*. Sagittarius A* is about 14.6 million miles (23.6 million kilometers) in diameter and has a mass of about four million times the sun.
-
This is to show all so called strong, rich and powerful individuals on earth that we are all in thos together
-
How can it be the biggest black hole when the Centre of the Galaxy is Sagittarius A* which is many million times bigger than the sun.
-
Please mention the word "stellar" in the title of the video as well, because, if left as it is, the title is misleading.
-
the sun needs to lose weight
-
"BH3" is the largest stellar blackhole in our galaxy. It is however, not the largest black hole of our Milky-way Galaxy. "Sagittarius A*" is the largest black hole and it is at the center of our galaxy. "Sagittarius A*" is a super massive black hole. Every object in our galaxy revolves around it. Your report needs to be more clear #Firstpost

Unprecedented? What about Syria, Damascus embassy?

with all the black holes in our galaxy I wonder why light from distant galaxies is red shift??? So much for an expanding universe. Seriously, we know so little yet ...
