Thank you for this information. I'm in the process of figuring out how to build my tiny house trailer. And non-toxicity, no VOCs - is one of the most important aspects.

You mention that you wouldn't want wood floor in the van why is that? I had planned on using a very thin wood and coating in tung oil. Your information has been extremely useful for me as I also need to paint the inside metal so I've been going through your information on that, which to be honest is still confusing for me. I seem to be stuck between going with normal paint which may off gas quickly, or trying to find something less harmful which will stick to metal like maybe the chalk.
