I remember when you first reacted to this. You listened to it twice. And this performance is damn near as perfect as the studio version. Same as most of their performances. You can hear the countless hours they’ve spent every day polishing their skills. True professionals.

I've seen Gojira live twice, and they're easily the best live band I've ever seen, performance-wise. Saw them play with Devin Townsend opening and Opeth co-headlining, two of my other favorites, and Gojira blew them both out of the water.

Most metalbands are quite tight live these days, but those that stand out for me are Meshuggah, Gojira and Jiner.... not just because they are tight... their music is quite complex to perform as well.

So fortunate to have seen them live (Chicago Open Air, May 2019)… having flown from New Zealand (to see Tool at the same gig). Phenomenal. This is a compelling, majestic song. It needs to be sealed in a time capsule. (Loved your car reaction last year too, Dylan.) Please do "Pray" from Magma. I did say "please"!
