STORYLINE:
Hundreds of Palestinians who heeded Israel's call for further evacuations in southern Gaza have arrived at the already overcrowded Muwasi (also known as Mawasi) area, where they have resorted to sleeping in makeshift shelters with few supplies.

In the area where one of the camps for those displaced is located people have been building tents on the side of the road or sleeping in cars due to the lack of space.

“Where shall we go, we escaped to Hamad (which was evacuated and hit during the weekend) and then we have been humiliated here,” said Ahmad Al Masry while preparing some food with his family.

The war has already killed thousands of Palestinians and displaced over three-fourths of Gaza's 2.3 million residents, who are running out of safe places to go.

“They forced us to leave our homes and brought us to the south and then we are forced to leave Khan Younis to here (Rafah), we have nothing to say except God helps, where shall we go, where to go? We just need this to be solved,” said Um Mohammad Al Asi who recently arrived at Muwasi with her daughters.

The Health Ministry in Hamas-run Gaza said the death toll in the territory since Oct. 7 has surpassed 15,500, with more than 41,000 wounded. The ministry does not differentiate between civilian and combatant deaths, but said 70% of the dead were women and children.

About 1200 people were killed in Israel during the attack on October 7th.

Israel says it targets Hamas operatives and blames civilian casualties on the militants, accusing them of operating in residential neighborhoods. It claims to have killed thousands of militants, without providing evidence.

Israel says at least 81 of its soldiers have died.

Hopes for another temporary truce faded after Israel called its negotiators home over the weekend.

The first casualty in each and every war, is the truth. I pray for the truth to be exposed and readily apparent to all.

Yet the last time but of news I heard here, is there are like 25 humanitarian aid trucks sitting just across the border in Egypt. So Egypt isn't letting those truck into Gaza.
