Rural Massachusetts was very similar to Connecticut, and Rhode Island. We specifically stayed away from the big cities in order to witness the countryside which is what really makes our country beautiful. The weather was good for our one day stay, and we did try to make the best of our very brief visit.
Even though it was still spring, and early in the season, we could tell that summer was just around the corner because of the emergence of mosquitoes as pests late in the afternoon, and early evening.
