I love the idea of some kid just casually on a walk, then he looks behind a rock, sees a lucario and goes "yeah, you'll do!" And then beats the elite 4 with it.

To be fair to Nemona, in the post game she actually admits she thinks sandbagging was a bad idea and she only did it cause no one would battle with her and she was sad, and from now on she was gonna go all out
