At 68yo I started learning the banjo 6 months ago, but can only finger pick 2 songs really well. It suddenly dawned on me that maybe I could play the same cords on the banjo and follow your lead. It works! My banjo was even tuned to your guitar! All of a sudden I can play 7 songs! I can't tell you how happy I am. You just opened up the world to me. Many thanks! 🪕

I love the simplicity of these songs and the way you present them. It is quite refreshing to remember how simple is often the best way to play a song. I have an electric/acoustic gig set up with all kinds of pedals and special effects to have to keep track of I sometimes forget how you can have even more fun without having to worry about all the gizmos and what can go wrong. I really like your voice and the enthusiasm you have for the music. Keep on playing!

I love this style of video, hope you do more (and like that you have full lessons available on your channel, like love story) I hope you do more videos like this one I’ve been playing for almost a year now, and although the other channels/tutorials I’ve watched were pieces to my puzzle.. this o e helped me see the picture so much clearer! I had been thru hiking for 5 and a half months and carrying a Martin backpacker guitar and I was pretty disappointed with myself I couldn’t play country roads… Well after practicing until my finger tips were about as tender as when I first started and my right elbow was sore (I’ve never felt that before!) I’ve never heard country roads come through more clearly when I tried to play it! And the other great songs too Thank you
