Oh my god this mv really made me cry. The child portraying ashley, the adult portraying halsey but also the role brittany played for ash as a kid, the way ash made up halsey to be less alone (swinging on the set together), the way there is only halsey now, and ashley has disappeared (halsey alone on the swing set), also the angry men in your house transforming from your father into your partner. Oh the layers!! AMAZING

little Ashley became the kind of pop star she always admired but things are never as easy as they seem. Halsey still plays the part, for their audience, for the little Ashley, they put on her costumes and plays the part in public while she suffers so much in private. It guess it helped them somehow, to conceal it all, but it must be such a relief to finally stop hiding, and she's going to help so many people going through similar things.
