As you can see, I have a double in the Comments. I wasn't at the Theater the whole time. he was.

The fact that Lincoln, his wife, and everyone else that day was literally having fun made it so sad and messed up. Booth utterly destroyed the party.

I have to admit I feel so bad for Mary Lincoln (Abraham Lincolns wife) She lost her mother, her brother in law, three of her children, and her husband. She was also extremely hated for anything she would do. She also lost 2 half siblings. How sad, I hope the Lincolns all rest in peace!

What Booth said after he killed Lincoln? “ight imma head out”
  • Whenever I think about Lincoln’s assassination, I always wonder what it was like for everybody else in the room that night. The theatre was not large by any stretch of the imagination, so I can’t even begin to comprehend what people witnessed, or the smell of gunpowder wafting through the room.
  • imagine you’re having the time of your life as the president, watching a hilarious (at the time) show, and all the sudden you’re 360 noscoped in the head. and then 150 years later 13 million people are watching exactly how you died.
  • Props to the camera man for risking his life to film this horrific moment (as well as going back in time!)
  • @Ilse446
Geez man you just don’t shoot someone for blocking your view in a theater
  • @Axo6z
Imagine if he missed and just looked at him awkwardly.
  • @BABYXCHINA

  • My Strength is far greater than booths he was just lucky my hands were quite sweaty.
  • I had no idea he was such a boss in his escape.. jumps from the balcony goes on stage and say his piece… I thought he just slipped away the way he came in. That’s like supervillain status.

91 years later, some little kid from that audience would end up on an episode of I've got a secret.

My heart is with Mary Todd. So much loss and sadness in her life. It would have been nice if Julia grant was more understanding and could've been the friend Mary Todd so desperately needed

After Lincoln died, my whole family was sad with grief that a great man had died without fulfilling great achievements for America.
