This video was completely inspired by Cristopher's World War II Every Day with Army Sizes!    • World War II Every Day with Army Sizes

The Assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand was the spark that ignited the biggest conflict the world had ever witnessed until 1914: to this day the Great War remains one of the deadliest conflicts of humanity

This was the hardest project I have ever done but it was worth it.
I used paint.net, Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects to produce this video

Seeing Germany deploying so many troops on so many fronts against so many global powers while their allies struggle to do anything shows just how powerful the german empire was
  • @JourneyLT
WW1 really was the "Wait, what were we fighting about?" war.

This is like the WW1 version of "WW2 with army sizes", incredible! I hope you achieve success with this!

It strikes me how I never saw a film about the Italian or the Russian front against the Germans, or the Ottoman-Russian front;only the western front was presented in cinema. RIP for all the fallen on all sides, and a great video as well!
  • 5:40 as a maritime enthusiast I want to give a small correction. The HMHS Britannic was a hospital ship and wasn't carrying any passengers, she was enroute to pick up more patients, there were around 1000 crew onboard, with 30 casualties.
