♡KEY POINTS ON HOW TO MAKE AMAZING NAIL VIDEO TUTORIALS:♡
♥ Camera/lens:
- I film my videos with a Nikon D5300 camera: amzn.to/1Mgznht
- Nikkor 85mm f/3.5G AF-S DX ED VR lens: amzn.to/1Ns8UiD
- BUT it doesn't necessarily matter what brand of camera you use (Nikon, Canon, etc.), what matters more is the lens and that you know how to USE it ;)
- (this video was shot with a Canon Powershot S110 point-and-shoot - amzn.to/1zXTVCF)
♥ Tripod:
- MeFoto travel tripod kit A0350 (table-top and extendable) = good metal tripod - amzn.to/1Ns9Weo
- Optex T120 minipro tabletop tripod = crappy plastic tripod
♥ Lighting:
- 2 x 5200k 28W compact fluorescent lighting (CFL) bulbs from your local photography store, screwed into two regular desk lamps
♥ Editing software:
- iMovie for Mac (v. 10 or higher)
- There are alternative programs for Windows PC, just Google it!
- Don't use an app to edit your video, apps suck
♥ Exporting videos:
- Exports from iMovie as .mp4 file, compatible on all social media for sharing
- HD 720 or higher, but larger file sizes may be too big to send to yourself to email to easily post on Instagram
- I have been told that Android phones kill video quality when uploading through the IG app, sorry Androiders :(

I see comments saying how serious she was in this video. I can still see the humor she puts in it but maybe she wasn't sure how much joking she could let there be in fear of the internet's reaction. She had to "warm-up" us to her. Or I could be looking too much into it and she was just awkward/nervous lol

This is THE BEST and THE MOST USEFUL nail art tip video EVER! Thank you so much for putting this together! I know it must have taken forever. I use tripod, 5500K studio lights, actual camera (a small digital camera), and Windows Movie Maker for my tutorials, so it looks like I'm in the right direction :D I was so curious about your sparkly background. I need to get those glitter papers now :) I use lightbox for winter time and not happy that the holos don't show up at all. Do you simply take your nail photos against black foam board? I follow you on IG and your pics & videos are always droolworthy!
